Easter

Happy Easter! Before anything else, I just want to publicly express my sincere gratitude to my Savior for His great sacrifice as we celebrate His atonement and resurrection. I can only hope that through the excitement of the 'fun' things of Easter, that my children will always remember their Savior and what He did for them!

The kids had fun coloring their eggs Thursday evening. Here are their masterpieces:

Saturday morning, we went to an Easter brunch at church. We had great food and the youth helped the younger kids with different activities while the adults got to sit back and socialize. Saturday evening, we headed to Beckie and Steve's for Easter Dinner because Dave and Melissa would be joining Melissa's family on Sunday. Dinner was yummy and for dessert we celebrated Jessie's 12th birthday (a little early, but thought that since we were all together, it would be a great time).

I can't believe I forgot to get pictures of the kids with their Easter baskets this year! We went to Beckie and Steve's for Easter dinner - part 2 this evening and enjoyed spending more time with Mike's family.
