A Day of Sun and Some FUN!

Nice days have been spotty lately, so we were really happy when Saturday came along and they were calling for a sunny day.  We had plans to meet cousins and Nana and Gramps in West Seattle at a park near Alki Beach.  The weather was perfect and we had a great time!

After we spent a while at the park, we walked a couple blocks to the beach.  The tide was way out and there were lots of tide pools to find ocean critters in.

The kids caught lots of crabs that were about 4" big, as well as the following: a big hairy slug (at least that's what Jessie called it), a star fish, and an eel.  My kids had no fear when it came to handling the things they found.

At lunch on Sunday, Josh discovered that one of this front bottom teeth were loose.  By about 7:30 p.m., he had the tooth out and was proud as ever!  It was his first tooth that he lost and he was sooo excited!!!
